Deep Lake Energy Center is located on a portion of the old Fola Mine in Nicholas County, West Virginia, adjacent to the

Nicholas County Solar Project

More than 1,500 acres have been secured for the project, which will consist of all project components, including the solar panels, battery storage system, access roads, and other infrastructure necessary for the operation of the facility. The project will likely use less than 1,000 acres for all project facilities.

The project will interconnect to the Jones Branch Substation, part of the

First Energy/PJM network.
